Framed Florals Flowers // Stems Brooklyn + Table Numbers
A few months ago I was contacted by Stems Brooklyn to collaborate on a wedding! They had a request for pressed flower table numbers, and they asked if I'd be able to work with them on this pretty project. I've been a huge fan of Stems for so long, and always loved how their original flower shop was in a Brooklyn bar. Two of my favorite things, a cocktail & a bouquet! Since then, they've relocated to a yoga studio which is just gorgeous. Again, the two go perfectly hand in hand, yoga & a pretty bunch of flowers!
The loveliest bunch of blooms and greenery were delivered to my studio for me to press. Eucalyptus, astilbe, spray roses, and astrantia. The color scheme was perfect and I knew they would look so good in the gold frames!
The flowers and greenery stayed in the presses for a few weeks. In that time, the couple sent their frames over to Marjorie of Marjorie Lettering for the numbers to be painted on. When they were dried and finished they dropped the frames off to me to add the pressed and preserved flowers!
I played around with composition of the frames and glued the flowers down, while being extremely careful of not scratching the paint off the frame. After each frame dried I lined them up and marveled at the beautiful little collection!
So in love with how these turned out! I was so honored to be asked to be a part of the newlyweds wedding day, and equally as honored to collaborate with such talented vendors!
